Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of Ginger Garlic paste

  • 1 tablespoon of Organic ground Paprika

  • 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala

  • 1 teaspoon of Organic ground Turmeric

  • 2 tablespoons of Sesame or Extra Virgin Olive oil

  • 1 cup of cubed Sourdough Bread pieces

  • 2 cups of diced Potatoes

  • 2 cups of diced Carrots

  • Organic Turkey Breast

  • 2 teaspoons of softened Butter (Optional)

Note: You will also need a device to measure the internal temperature of your Turkey in the oven.

Directions:

  • After gathering your ingredients, you may begin mixing the marinade for the Turkey breast. This Turkey will have to marinate for about 48 hours, so ensure that you have set aside time for the process in advance.

  • In a small bowl, carefully combine your ground Paprika, Garam Masala, Turmeric, and oil to form a paste-like mixture. Set this paste aside.

  • Make sure that you have a wide pan with which to cook your Turkey in (a cast-iron dish would work well). After carefully placing your Turkey in your dish, spread your diced vegetables and bread around your Turkey. They will cook alongside the meat in the oven and will produce a sauce.

  • Gather your marinade and start spreading it over the Turkey, making sure to rub the spice mixture thoroughly into the skin and flesh. You may do this with your hands or a brush. Afterwards, you may also sprinkle any leftover marinade (if you have any left) on the surrounding vegetables.

  • Now, it is time to marinate your Turkey. Place the Turkey in the coldest part of your fridge and marinate for around 2 days (≈48 hours).

  • When you are finally ready to cook your Turkey, remove it from the fridge and allow it to reach room temperature on your countertop. Preheat your oven to 400º F

  • Before placing the Turkey in the oven, if desired, you may smooth some softened butter onto the surface of the Turkey to impart moisture. When you’re ready, place your marinated bird into the oven!

  • After cooking your Turkey for 20 minutes at this temperature (uncovered), go ahead and reduce the temperature to around 375º F. Now, cover the surface of your Turkey with a foil covering and allow it to cook until the internal temperature of the meat is measured to be 160º F.

When your Turkey is fully cooked, take it out of the oven and cool until it is ready to be eaten. Enjoy!
